Repiping

Once a supply system starts failing in multiple places, patching each leak is paying repeatedly for the same problem. Homes here built before the mid 1970s often have galvanized pipe that has corroded nearly shut, and copper from the seventies and eighties eventually develops pinhole leaks that hard water accelerates. A repipe replaces the supply lines throughout the house in copper or PEX, permitted and inspected, with walls patched as part of the job. Most single family homes take days, not weeks, and the cheapest repipe you will ever get is the one done while a remodel already has the walls open.
